LEGOLAND was the name of the original Minifig theme, it had three subthemes Castle, Space and Town. The packaging was yellow boxes with big sanserif LEGOLAND lettering in blue. It was introduced in 1978 and lasted until 1990, followed by the "System" theme in 1992.
