Stubby is a slang term for the short legs used with minifig children and other shorter than normal minifigs such as the goblin proprietors of Gringott's Bank, Harry Potter house elves, young Boba Fett, Yoda, SpongeBob SquarePants, Mr. Krabs, Patrick Star, or the Penguin. Unlike regular legs, these do not bend as they are a single cast piece.
